Jaleena Jessop, DDS, MBA, and Neil Jessop

Jaleena Jessop graduated with honors in oral surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2002. She later completed a two-year certification program through the American Endodontic Society. Dr. Jessop has served on the Utah Dental Association board for two years, serves on the national advisory board, and has been an adjunct professor at the University of Utah School of Dentistry since 2014. She earned her MBA in 2023 from the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. Dr. Jessop has owned her own dental practice since 2003, with an emphasis on esthetic and minimally invasive dentistry. Dr. Jessop is the current chief clinical officer at Ultradent Products.

Neil Jessop is the Senior Vice President of Research & Development at Ultradent Products, Inc., where he has worked since 1991. During his tenure, he has played a pivotal role in advancing adhesive technology in dentistry, helping establish industry testing standards that were ultimately adopted as ISO standards. His work has focused on deepening the understanding of dentin and enamel properties, contributing to the development of many of the dental industry's leading adhesive products.

From 1998 to 2002, Mr. Jessop worked in the Biomaterials Research Laboratory at Loma Linda University in California. This experience provided valuable insight into the evaluation and development of dental materials. During this period, he collaborated with manufacturers to test products in development and gained firsthand knowledge of the challenges associated with dental research and product innovation.

In 2002, Mr. Jessop returned to Ultradent Products to lead the company's Research & Development division. Today, he oversees five branches of R&D, including Chemical R&D, Engineering R&D, Design R&D, Clinical R&D, and Product Development, leading a team of more than 100 employees.

Mr. Jessop and his wife, Dr. Jaleena Jessop, have been married since 1992 and have two daughters.

Their shared commitment to advancing dentistry has fostered a unique partnership that combines clinical expertise with innovation in dental product development.
