Webinar Course Description: This course aims to present the characteristics and benefits of fiberglass posts and their practical applications in clinical dentistry. It will cover their function, indications, types, treatment planning, selection criteria, clinical strategies for use, and adhesive cementation. Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to: - Identify the key characteristics and clinical advantages of fiberglass posts.
- Describe the different types of posts and their appropriate indications in restorative dentistry.
- Apply evidence-based criteria for selecting the most suitable post system for each clinical scenario.
- Develop effective clinical strategies for the placement and use of fiberglass posts.
- Understand the principles and techniques involved in the adhesive cementation of fiberglass posts.
Speaker Bio: Lara Christie Monteiro, DDS, MSc, PhD Assistant Professor with DDS, MSc, and Ph.D. in Operative Dentistry, along with additional certifications in Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Implantology. Over 20 years of experience in clinical practice and dental office management, plus 7 years dedicated to teaching clinical and laboratory-based courses. Actively involved in research and committed to the principles of minimally invasive dentistry, integrating clinical practice with evidence-based dentistry. |
